2007 COMMITTEES

Budget Committee Chair – Cathy Ward
The Budget Committee is to be automatically chaired by the Treasurer. The committee conducts a meeting once per year to determine the next fiscal year’s proposed budget, which is then proposed to the Board of Directors for approval. The Treasurer also reviews accounts and financial statements and presents current financial status at the Board of Directors’ meetings.

Events Committee Chair - Dan Serpe
Convention & Golf- arranges for aspects of the annual convention, location, entertainment, etc. and coordinate with various Chairmen of the special events that will occur during the convention. This committee also arranges for the date, location, promotion and prizes for association sponsored golf tournaments.

Quality Dealer & Scholarship - coordinates the communication of availability, distribution of applications, submissions and selection of all quality dealer and scholarship nomination forms.

Education Committee Chair - Tim Klapp
The Education Committee works the Executive Offices to approve education seminar availability and content.

Legislative Committee Chair – Frank Sarwark
The Legislative Committee works to keep the Board of Directors, Executive Offices and AIADA Membership apprised of legislative topics that may affect the industry. It also functions as liaison between the board and any such lobbyists or political operatives as the board shall deem necessary.

Membership Committee Chair - Mike Allen
The Membership Committee conducts at least one annual membership drive and use whatever methods the Board approves to induce qualified individuals and companies to join the state association.

Building Maintenance Committee Chair – Russ Overkamp
The Building Maintenance Committee is responsible for the up-keep, regular maintenance and improvements for the AIADA Building and surrounding grounds.

Fund Raising Committee Chair – Ace Cristian
The Fundraising Committee coordinates and somes up with fundraising ideas and events throughout the year, possibly in conjunction with outside entities for the purpose of furthering the objectives of the Independent Automobile Dealers Association.
