The Arizona Independent Automobile Dealers Association (AIADA) is a non-profit trade organization who's focus is on non-franchised motor vehicle dealers in Arizona and their interaction with their customers.

Automotive remarketing accounts for over a third of the national vehicle sales taking place. The importance of compliance/regulatory information and training has increased dramatically. Our hope is to be a third-party facilitator, in conjunction with other state entities, in the vehicle purchasing process for both consumers and dealerships.

For Dealerships

We have three main focuses of service: reEducation, Legislation and Discounts.

For Consumers

We offer Referrals, Information regarding vehicle sales and Customer Mediation services in the case there is an existing concern with a non-franchised dealer.
How Did The AIADA Start?

Independent Automobile Dealers Association was founded in 1968 by a group of automobile dealers that saw the need for a trade association to provide support, information, legislation and education to dealers throughout the state of Arizona.

In 1969, through an affiliation with the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association, we joined forces with other dealers nationwide. NIADA is headquartered in Arlington, Texas. NIADA has over 19,000 members nationwide. NIADA was formed in 1946 to represent independent automobile dealers, NIADA is the voice of the used motor vehicle industry. Members look to NIADA to provide them with solutions and answers that help them operate more successful businesses. Bringing together informational sources and benefits, providing educational opportunities for dealers and their employees, along with a strong legislative presence in Washington, D.C., is NIADA's key focus for its members.
