About Us Code of Ethics

 

As an AIADA member we pledge to:

 

1 Maintain high standards and fair business practices in the sale and service of the products sold.

2 Each industry member should maintain dependable service facilities and fair customer labor rates, or be in a position to recommend qualified garages or repair stations.

3 All agreements or guarantees pertaining to the sale or purchase of all vehicles shall be in writing.

4 Obey and uphold all State and Federal laws and regulations concerning financing insurance, taxation, licensing and titling of all vehicles sold.

5 Recognize the interest of the public and benefits of employees within the industry by observing a schedule of regular working hours consistent with established local business practices.

6 Advertising shall be accurate and truthful in every respect and free from any misuse of working, illustration, typographical arrangements or omission of vital information which might mislead or deceive any reader.

7 Each subscribing AIADA member shall recognize and affirm the necessity for courteous, prompt and fair dealing with the customer.

8 No member shall alter, or cause to be altered, the odometer reading of any motor vehicle. In the case of damaged or inoperative odometers where replacement is required, the odometer replacement shall be conspicuously noted on the face of the speedometer.

9 Members agree to support the policies and regulations of the Arizona Independent Automobile Dealers Association.
